Bynder offers an even more secure way of logging in. Two-factor authentication (also known as 2FA) is a technology that provides user identification from a combination of two different components - often a combination of something you know + something you have.
For Bynder this means a username + password and a code provided by an app. This app is linked to your own Bynder environment, so the code created by the app needs to be entered as an extra security layer before the user can access the system.
Please note that the 2FA does not work in combination with SSO.
Use case: One of our clients has to update prices on a monthly basis. Therefore it is necessary to update all existing PDF files, in which those prices are mentioned. This process was always very time-consuming and exhausting. As a result, our client was looking for a solution which allows them to update versions in batches.
With the help of our new feature, the Mass Version Updater, you will be now able to update multiple files at the same time.
In the Mass Version Updater, you can easily drag and drop files which will then automatically start uploading. There is no limit on the number of files that can be uploaded in one batch!
Please note that the update only works for files that are already in the system. For example, if the asset name Chair.jpg already exists, Bynder will create a second version: Chair.v2.jpg. However, if a file is not listed in the asset bank, the file cannot be updated (see below).
When the status is successful, Chair.v2 will be added as a new version of the original asset:
The Mass Version Updater verifies the asset name by default during uploading. It is also possible to use the original file name as the source instead.
The Grid Smart Filter displays a visual presentation of the available filters instead of a text-only list. This makes it easier for users to find the media they are looking for by choosing values based on the accompanying graphics within the filter.
